Meet the Band
Justin (Keys; Backing Vocals) – Musical Director and Band Leader, Justin started Zanzibar over 9 years ago. Today; Justin is the proud owner of Zanzibar Entertainment and can often be seen behind the keys of multiple bands around the state. Justin lives in South Jersey with his wife Lauren.
Mark Cucarese (Lead Vocals; Saxophone) – Mark joins Zanzibar after a very successful run with New York Based “Main Event”. Mark often lends his vocals to multiple projects and continues to write and produce his own music. Mark resides in Central Jersey with his wife and two children.
Rob (Guitar; Backing Vocals) – Rob joins Zanzibar as lead guitarist for the 4th season. A self-taught guitarist, Rob’s influences include classic rock and modern pop. Rob is also the owner of ”ProMusic Editing”, a track editing company in New Jersey.
Pat “Squid” Squitieri (Drums) – Squid is the man behind the kit! Having played in various different bands throughout the tri-state area, Pat joins Zanzibar with years of performing experience. Born and raised in New York City, he currently lives in Pennsylvania.
Rich Shields (Bass) – The newest member of Zanzibar, Rich joins the band after playing in with multiple groups throughout New Jersey and New York. His influences include genres such as classic rock and pop. Rich hails from Staten Island, but current lives in Central New Jersey.
